There are a whopping five engines available for the 2022 Wrangler, and in this mix are several powerful options. The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6 capable of producing a spectacular 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque which pairs with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. After this, there are several options available. The first is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that gets you a solid 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and it's available on all versions of the Wrangler. When we move on to the four-door Wrangler's, you get a few more engine options. First is a diesel-powered and turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that pumps out an outstanding 260 horses and 442 lb-ft of torque. Want a touch more power? The Wrangler is set to give it to you with a 6.4-liter V8 that kicks out 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Both these engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The final engine is the spectacular hybrid known as the 4xe, and it uses the turbocharged four-cylinder as a base while adding electric motors and a battery pack. The net result is 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. 

There are four amazing trims available for the Wrangler, and each one provides you with several luxury, tech, and performance items. The first trim is the Sport which comes standard with foglights, tow hooks, skid plates, 17-inch steel wheels, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Need more performance items? Check out the Sport S, which comes with alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and air conditioning. Need more luxury? Then check out the Sahara trim, which has a body-colored grille and fender flairs, 18-inch wheels, a full-time four-wheel drive, and automatic climate control. If you're looking to go far into the wilderness, check out the Rubicon trim, which has 17-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, heavy-duty front and rear axles, locking front and rear differentials, and rock rails. There is also a variant of this trim known as the Rubicon 392, which tacks on high-performance electronic brakes, a 2-inch suspension lift, Fox shock absorbers, LED headlights, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an upgraded infotainment system.

One standard System is a Blind-Spot Monitoring System with Rear-Cross Path Detection, which will monitor the areas around and behind the Wrangler so you can make safer lane changes and be able to see obstacles behind you. Finally, a Forward Collision Warning will notify you when an impending frontal collision is imminent.
