The Grand Wagoneer starts out strong with a potent 6.4-liter V8 engine as standard equipment on all four trim levels. This engine kicks out 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, and pairs with a fuel-efficient TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Wagoneer has a maximum ground clearance of 10 inches, which helps it achieve a maximum water fording ability of 24 inches. 4-wheel drive is standard on all trim levels of the Grand Wagoneer, featuring the Quadra-Drive II transfer case. When the Grand Wagoneer is properly equipped with the available Heavy-Duty Tow Package, it can tow up to 9.860 pounds of cargo.
2021 Lincoln Navigator Power & Handling
The Lincoln Navigator features one engine option for its three-trim-level lineup. This engine is the 3.6-liter V6 that provides about 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. Despite its plentiful torque, however, the Lincoln Navigator’s maximum towing capacity is only 8,700 pounds. Compared to nearly 10,000 pounds for the Grand Wagoneer, the Navigator can’t quite catch up. It’s also a bit lacking in the four-wheel-drive department. All-wheel drive is an available option, but the standard drivetrain is front-wheel drive.
2022 Grand Wagoneer Features & Design
The Grand Wagoneer has a classic American aesthetic with plenty of modern features that help it feel contemporary and luxurious. All three rows are upholstered in standard Nappa leather, with premium quilted Palermo leather on the upper trim levels. It also features ambient LED interior lighting, massaging 24-way power-adjustable front seats, heating and ventilation for the first and second rows, wireless smartphone charging, and available rear-seat entertainment displays. There’s even an available industry-exclusive McIntosh sound system complete with 23 speakers and 3D surround-sound technology.
2021 Lincoln Navigator Features & Design
The Lincoln Navigator commands attention on the road due to its large and angular exterior. Inside, the base level trim features faux-leather upholstery, with upper trim levels only having true leather on the first two rows. The interior can seat up to eight passengers depending on your chosen configuration. Some features available to upper trim levels include a 20-speaker REvel Ultima audio setup, a head-up display, and massaging front seats. Some of the Navigator’s standard features include a hands-free tailgate, a heated steering wheel, and ambient LED interior lighting.
