There are a couple of engines available for the Grand Cherokee, and you're going to get a tremendous amount of power with all of them. Standard is a 3.6-liter V6 that gets you 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. After the Laredo trim, you have the option of a turbocharged 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid known as the 4xe that comes with two electric motors in the front and back and comes with 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. On the Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit, you get the option of the pavement-pounding 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. You can get all of these fantastic engines with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The V6 comes with rear-wheel-drive, and four-wheel-drive is available. Four-wheel-drive comes standard with the V8 and the 4xe engines. 

The 2022 Grand Cherokee is available with five trim levels, and there are a lot of tech and luxury items available. The first trim is the Laredo which comes with 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, heated mirrors, roof rails, keyless entry and ignition, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Several tech items are included with this trim, such as a digital instrument panel an 8.4-inch central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But wait, that's not all you can get with the Laredo! Several option packages are available, including the Lux Tech Group, automatic wipers, a remote start, a power liftgate, heated rear seats, and a wireless charging pad. Next up is the Limited trim, which is a trim worth getting as it comes with  LED foglights, driver's seat memory settings, leather upholstery, and heated rear seats. Off-road fans will love the Trailhawk, which comes with several advanced off-road items such as all-terrain tires, adaptive air suspension, hill ascent and descent control, front tow hooks, and an electronic disconnecting stabilizer bar. Higher trim levels get more advanced luxury items such as upgraded leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, ambient cabin lighting, a hands-free liftgate, front cross-traffic alert, and four-zone automatic climate control. 

A lot! Not only is the Grand Cherokee one of the most powerful and well-equipped SUVs on the market, but it's also a very safe vehicle thanks to the numerous safety systems that are available. All trims of the Grand Cherokee come with an Adaptive Cruise Control system that allows drivers to maintain a pre-set distance between the Grand Cherokee and the vehicle in front of it. Available is a Lane-Keeping Assist system that will help you steer the Grand Cherokee back into its lane if you happen to drift. Last but not least is the Blind-Spot Monitoring system with Rear-Cross Path Detection, which will monitor the areas behind and beside the Grand Cherokee for vehicles and objects so you can back up easier and make safe landed changes.
